Adult Pick Up Soccer - Summer 2025

Looking for a low key adult soccer option this summer? The GRSC invites adults aged 19 and older to join the Club’s summer recreational co-ed pick-up soccer!

Format: Small size field with 6' x 12' goals. Matches may be two 25-minute halves with a 5-minute halftime break, but participating players will ultimately decide the length and duration of each game. The size and makeup of each team will vary based on weekly participation. Games may range from 3 v 3 to 11 v 11 depending on the number of players present.

Teams: The teams will be created and balanced by players who attend each week.

Player Eligibility:

Aged 19 years or older
Must register and pay using the TeamSnap online registration process - no exceptions

Schedule: The season runs Sunday evenings for 8 weeks from Sunday, July 6 through Sunday, August 24.

Day/Time/Location: Sunday evenings on the Glen Rock High School lower soccer/lax field (artificial turf) from 5:30-7:30pm.

Cost: The cost is $50 for the eight-week season which includes field allocation and all match equipment.

Refund Policy: The GRSC will not refund Adult Summer Pickup Soccer registration fees for any withdrawals, except in extenuating circumstances which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the GRSC Executive Committee and Adult League Commissioner.

Player Equipment: Players should bring a light and a dark colored shirt to each game. Players are responsible for shorts, cleats, socks & shin guards. Turf shoes and shin guards are highly recommended.

Rules of Play: The Rules of Play are outlined below. All players are expected to read, understand and follow these Rules.

Rules of Play - Summer Pickup Soccer

Pick-up games are not refereed, but the latest version of the GRSC Adult League Rules of Competition (RoC's) are considered to be in effect as appropriate for non-league, pickup soccer. Players are expected to know and follow the Adult League RoC's in addition to these pickup soccer Rules of Play.
Players are expected to play safely, respectfully, and call their own fouls.
All players must bring a dark and light t-shirt
Shin guards and turf shoes are recommended for all players.
Games generally consist of 25-minute halves with a 5 minute intermission, but participating players may alter the format each week.
Players create balanced teams, upon arrival, based on individuals that attend each week.
Games may range from 3 v 3 to 11 v 11 depending on the number of players present.
Unlimited substitutions may be made during the game and are managed by the team.
Players should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time in order to begin games promptly.
