Registration is Open for the Spring 2022 Season!

Players will develop the soccer techniques of dribbling, passing, ball control, and shooting through structured exercises along with fun, small-sided games in a positive, engaging environment.

• Open to players Pre-K through 2nd Grade (birthdays 8/1/2013 - 2/28/2019)
• All sessions are run by professional trainers from United Soccer Academy
• Program runs every Sunday from April 3rd through June 12th, excluding Easter Sunday (April 17th) and Memorial Day Weekend (May 29th). Session schedules are as follows:

                -- Pre-K Session 1: 12:00-1:00pm

                -- Pre-K Session 2: 2:00-3:00pm

                -- Kindergarten: 1:00-2:00pm

                -- 1st/2nd grade girls: 3:00-4:30pm

                -- 1st/2nd grade boys: 4:30-6:00pm

• Registration is $185 (through April 2022)
• Jersey and socks are included. Please provide sizes during registration. Click here for sizing charts.
• No tryouts
• Age group sessions will be scheduled around other spring sports' programs

For 1st and 2nd Graders looking to expand on the technical and tactical areas of the game, GRSC offers our Competition Team Program:

• Open to 1st & 2nd Graders
• Players will expand on the technical and tactical areas of the game experienced in the Fall and Spring Programs
• All sessions are run by professional trainers from United Soccer Academy
• One additional midweek practice session on Tuesdays starting March 15th
• Registration/participation in the Spring Program is required
• Cost is $65, which is in addition to the cost of the Spring Program
• Participate in a minimum of 3 weekend soccer "festivals" (mini-competitions) during the season (see below)
• No tryouts
• Space is limited

What are Soccer Festivals?

Soccer festivals are small mini-tournaments. They provide multiple, small sided games per event for each team. Benefits include playing in an unpressured format, lots of touches on the ball, with a focus on player development versus winning. GRSC Competition Teams will host other Northern NJ teams in their equivalent age group. 

COMPETITION TEAM PRACTICE SCHEDULES

Competition team practice sessions will be held Tuesday afternoons  starting March 15th. Specific time slots for each team will be announced by early March.
